The plug-in process is painless for developers: download and unzip the source code, add a CTRL-O trigger to your browser class, run the install procedure, compile your application, done. The Smart Data Pump analyzes the smart data object at runtime, extracts all data definitions, asks the user for optional low and high values per attribute and sends the selected data to Excel, a web browser, or creates a CSV file (XML or PDF output and other formats can be added with ease).
